AMK is committed to fulfilling its responsibility to harmonise economic challenges closely with environmental requirements and to act as a role model as it does so. We act with foresight: all of our production processes – from individual components to the finished product – take into account the environmental and energy aspects we have identified through precautionary environmental protection measures. All AMK plants are ISO 14001:2015 certified.
We take our corporate responsibility towards society seriously and support social projects that help to reduce suffering and illness and promote the development and education of children. As an employer and sponsor in the respective regions where our sites are located, we focus on supporting local projects and associations in particular.

AMK’s highly innovative products already meet high standards with respect to energy utilisation and environmental sustainability. We also pay particular attention to these aspects in the enhancement and further development of our products. By optimising our operational processes and procedures, we aim to reduce the use of resources and lower energy consumption as well as optimising the utilisation of existing energy reserves and resources. We implement environmentally friendly developments in our production processes. When purchasing raw, auxiliary and working materials, we focus on the use of environmentally friendly substances. When it comes to selecting suppliers, we place great importance on environmental aspects such as green production processes and short transportation routes in addition to economic requirements. For us, the most important basis for fulfilling environmental quality requirements is compliance with the applicable legal requirements and obligations. We devote extensive time and resources to educating and motivating our employees. We firmly believe that constant training and sustainable information allow us to achieve both economic and environmental improvements.
