Meeting in the Weil der Städter forest on December 13, 2023, marked the official donation of trees to the city of Weil der Stadt. Mr. Frank Zewe, the chairman of the works council at AMK Automotive, represented AMK on-site, emphasizing the company’s commitment to sustainability. Our Christmas donation in 2022 for the “ZukunftsWald” project received a positive response, and we are deeply pleased to contribute to greening a planting area in Weil der Stadt with our donation.

The trees have already been planted in areas where open spaces were created by storms, tree deaths, and bark beetles. By forgoing Christmas gifts for customers and business partners, we were able to further advance the ZukunftsWald project, aiming to plant an impressive 100,000 trees in Baden-Württemberg by 2030, demonstrating our dedication to climate and the environment.

In 2023, once again, we refrained from Christmas gifts for our customers and business partners, choosing instead to continue supporting the ZukunftsWald project. Plans for planting additional forest areas in Baden-Württemberg in 2024 are already in full swing. Sustainability remains a central concern for AMK Automotive. With this ongoing initiative, AMK strives to collectively make a sustainable contribution to the future viability of our homeland, alongside our valued customers and dedicated employees. The NIO eT7, which was showcased at our stand, was NIO’s only premium model at the show and earned positive acclaim from both visitors and the press. This underlines our reputation as a future-oriented supplier of electric vehicles.

AMK had the privilege of welcoming high-level representatives of major OEMs to our stand. These high-quality meetings confirm our position as an important player in the future automotive sector.

A delegation from the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) also visited our stand to discuss future strategies for medium-sized companies in the automotive sector.

AMK’s presence at IAA Mobility 2023 has significantly increased our visibility and awareness in the industry, especially with the launch of our air suspension solution for the NIO eT7. This lays a strong foundation for the market entry of our products in the electric vehicle sector.

Our Christmas donation was well received by the Förderkreis krebskranke Kinder e.V. Stuttgart! On 26 January, our CEO Mr. Zhou visited the Blue House in Stuttgart with further goods donations. The 1st Chairman Prof. Dr. Stefan Nägele welcomed Mr. Zhou warmly and showed him around the Blue House. It is a temporary home for families with seriously ill children in the immediate vicinity of the Olga Hospital.

It was a very meaningful visit. Our choice to donate here has been confirmed as right and necessary. Because here, children with cancer and their families receive fast and unbureaucratic support. We are pleased that AMK Automotive can support the local and social institution in this way and look forward to taking on further social projects!

Formerly known as the IAA Commercial Vehicles, the event has now expanded its range of topics and exhibitors under the new name IAA Transportation. As well as showcasing various vehicle innovations, the trade fair will also include exhibitions on logistics, transport and the digitisation of commercial transport on the road to climate neutrality. AMK Automotive will be there presenting our innovative in-vehicle compressed air supply solutions:

Our AMK air suspension compressors are an innovative air supply product for air suspension systems. Our compressors are distinguished by their compact, modular design.

The two-stage operating principle of our dry-running compressors opens up completely new possibilities in terms of the achievable pressure level, duty cycle, adjustment times and energy efficiency. It is not least for this reason that AMK compressors are especially suitable for use in SUVs and widely established on the market.

The integrated air dryer unit with optional quick-release function ensures a supply of clean, dry compressed air under all climatic conditions. The air dryer operates regeneratively and is 100% maintenance-free. An electric relay valve and a mechanical relief valve guarantee reliable, safe operation without the need for additional external components.

Our innovations drive movement in the commercial vehicles sector. Our latest development is electronically controlled air suspension, or ECAS.

The ECAS system uses an electronic height sensor, which transmits real-time data to the vehicle’s ECU. This unit automatically calculates whether the pressure in the bellows above the magnetic valve needs to be adjusted, making suspension more efficient.
