Representative projects in a wide variety of eMobility sectors have been implemented with AMK technology in recent years. In addition to our collaboration with EFA-S GmbH in the conversion of UPS delivery vehicles to electric motors, AMK has been strongly committed to the Formula Student Electric competition since its outset.
Several overall winners of the important Formula Student Germany competition in Hockenheim drove vehicles equipped with AMK drives. Likewise, a world record for the fastest acceleration from 0 to 100 km/hr by an electric vehicle of just 1.779 seconds was done by a race car with an AMK drive. The current record is 1,513 seconds.
AMK is incorporating the results of these pilot projects and the experience gained from them into standard production, thereby enabling a technology transfer from machine construction to the street. Thus, the future eMobility market will benefit from the extensive and unified modular drive design that enables customers to use drive systems consisting of a controller and motor that are finely matched for the respective use case.
